Dennis Underwood

Dennis Paul Underwood, age 27 of Cannon Falls, died as a result of a car accident on Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2012 near New Trier, MN. Dennis was born on August 10, 1985 in Waldron, Arkansas, the son of Bobby and Ronna (Franklin) Underwood. Dennis moved to Cannon Falls in 1992 and attended Cannon Falls schools. He was a baptized member of First Baptist Church in Cannon Falls, and was also involved with the local Boy Scout troop. Dennis enjoyed working on cars, working outdoors and being in nature. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Charlene Underwood of Cannon Falls, and Ronna Franklin of Port Hadlock, WA; siblings, Patty and Michelle Talley, and John Underwood, all of Hadlock, WA and Mary Ellen Underwood of Cannon Falls and their families; grandmothers, Mary Lee of TX and Barbara Heyn of Washington; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation from 1-2 p.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls, with Pastor Bradley Berglund officiating.
