Dennis Gianoli

Denny Gianoli, age 75, of Cannon Falls, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Dennis B. Gianoli was born on August 18, 1944 in LaCrosse, WI, the son of Joseph and Marie (Eckert) Gianoli. He grew up in the Genoa area and graduated from Aquinas Catholic High School. He then graduated from the University of Minnesota. On October 3, 1970, Denny was united in marriage to Cynthia McCusker. The couple settled in Cannon Falls. Denny was a CPA and a Certified Financial Planner

Denny was a very active member of the community. He was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church where he served on the church council as the Finance Chairman, was an early member of the Cannon Valley Investment Club, was a former Rotarian and member of the Knights of Columbus, and active with many other organizations. Denny was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. More than anything, his family was his most important accomplishment.

Survivors include his wife Cynthia, son Joseph Gianoli, daughter Ann (Jerry) Krueger; grandchildren Parker, Connor and Quinn Gianoli, and Sawyer Krueger; sister Judy (Mark) Erickson; brother Tim Gianoli; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Joseph and Darrell, and his nephew John Erickson.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 14 from 6-9:00 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN, 55009. The memorial service will be on Sat. Feb 15, at 11:00 am at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 410 W. Colvill St, Cannon Falls, MN, 55009. There will also be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
