Clyde Ozment

Clyde L. Ozment, age 101 of Rosemount, died on Sunday morning May 9, 2010 at the Community Assisted Living in Farmington.

Clyde was born July 7, 1908 in Pike County, Arkansas the son of Claude & Anna (Frisby) Ozment. He traveled all over the country with carnivals as a young man. Clyde was a life member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local #87 since 1941. He founded First Baptist Church of Rosemount in 1959. Clyde met and married Dolores in 1931. They lived in Rochester until 1941 when they moved to the Twin City area, settling in Rosemount.

He was preceded in death by wife, Dolores; daughter, Barbara MacCallum; and son, Eugene.

Clyde is survived by sons, Dick Ozment (Marilyn Seehusen) and Dennis (Gayle) Ozment; 10 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 14 at the Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Union Cemetery in Pleasant Grove, MN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.

Active pallbearers will be Greg, Mike and Brock Ozment, Jim Davidson, Wendy and Brian Eckre.
