Byron III

Byron Charles Landon III, "Charlie", age 26 of Cannon Falls, MN passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Cannon Falls Medical Center. Charlie was born on July 17, 1986 in St. Paul, the son of Byron II and Lisa (Kirchner) Landon. He graduated from Eagan Senior High School in 2005 and attended Inver Hills Community College. He was employed as an IT Specialist for US Bank in St. Paul. Charlie enjoyed going to the cabin fishing with family and to Minnesota Twins games with his father and Cindy. He was always in his Mother's kitchen learning to cook or just being a food tester. He shared his love of computers and gaming systems with Bob. His Godson Michael was the light of his life, he always had time for some "hide and seek" or a Play station game. Charlie's love for his sister seemed endless, as they were always together sharing life's events with one another. They shared a special bond with each other. Charlie had a smile that would light up any room and his loving and tender heart completed his personality. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Byron "Chuck" Landon and uncle, Larry Kirchner. He is survived by his father Byron (Cindy) of Cannon Falls; mother Lisa (Bob) Sherry of Burnsville; sister Kirsten (Kris Lewandoski) of West St. Paul; nephew Kristofer "Michael" Lewandoski; fiancé Jessica Schmidt and son, Jordan of Eagan; grandparents, Ruth Landon of Northfield, Connie Carlson of New Mexico, Roy Kirchner of South Dakota, Bill and Marilyn Hewitt of Portage, WI, and Charlotte Sherry of Germany; step-brother Bobby Sherry of California; step-sister Angela Sherry of Germany. Charlie was deeply loved and will be missed by his entire family and close friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 29470 Gaylord Ave, Cannon Falls MN 55009. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m., all at Christ U-M Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Charlie's name and sent to Christ U-M Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael and Jordan, Alex and Stefan Caranicas, Kris Lewandoski, Pete Arnold, and Bobby Sherry.
