Bridget E. Boykin, age 28 of Cannon Falls, died on Wednesday evening, September 30, 2009 at United Hospital in St. Paul.
Bridget was born on June 24, 1981 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Dan and Rue (Lancaster) Boykin. She grew up and attended school in Hastings, graduating in 1999 from the Hastings High School. She went on to school at St. Olaf, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2003, with a degree in Religion.
Bridget was an avid collector and reader of books. She also enjoyed poetry, music, playing piano and flute. She will be remembered most for her integrity, and was a loyal and conscientious friend.
She will be greatly missed by her loving parents, Dan and Rue Boykin of Cannon Falls; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Serena Lancaster of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends, Marie Ohman, Maria and Dick Sinn.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Jo Boykin.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 123 N. 3rd St., Cannon Falls, with Father James Young and Rev. Roger Claxton officiating. Interment will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home, Hwys 52 & 19, Cannon Falls.

Active casketbearers will be Marie Ohman, Maria Sinn, Jim Hvistendahl, Jone Adams, Jim Bassett and Earl Benson.
