Brandon Wood

Brandon Erwin Wood, age 30 of Lakeville and formerly of Cannon Falls, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Brandon was born on March 12, 1981 in Cannon Falls, the son of Craig and Diane (Miller) Wood. He was baptized and confirmed at the St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. In 1999, he graduated from the Cannon Falls High School. Brandon married Andrea Rider in 2001, and they had two children. Brandon worked for Iowa Steaks, having spent several years in the industry. He enjoyed his children, his nieces, his family, fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He is survived by his beloved children, Breanna and Alexis of Ellsworth, WI; brother, Eric of San Francisco, CA; sisters, Jillian of Cannon Falls and Aimee of Minnetonka; four nieces, Jasmine, Tyreece, Kaitlyn, and Nevaeh; grandmother, Berta Miller of Cannon Falls; uncles and aunts, Gary Miller of Cannon Falls, Gayle (Gary) Heppelmann of Apple Valley, Patti Regan of St. Paul, Mike Miller of Minneapolis, and Judy (nee Kvittem) Miller of Dennison; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane; brother, David; grandfather, Leslie Miller; uncle, Alan Miller; and cousin, Jeremy Wood. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, with Pastors Gary Schulz and Carol Sinykin officiating. CORRECTION: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8 from 5-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Private interment will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Drake Desjardins, Jon Nelson, John Underwood and Ryan Quiggle.
