Bonnie Kay Benson, age 58 of Hopkins, died on Saturday evening, February 24, 2007 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN.
Bonnie was born on May 17, 1948 in Red Wing, MN, the daughter of Lawrence and Berniece (Goudy) Benson. She was baptized and confirmed at the First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. She was a 1966 graduate of Cannon Falls High School and attended Rochester Junior College. She worked at Danavox for many years and at Byerly's St. Louis Park for 30+ years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Berniece "Bernie" Benson on August 30, 2002.
She is survived by her father, Lawrence "Larry" Benson of Cannon Falls; brother, Dennis and his wife, Joan Benson of Burnsville; niece and nephew, Margaret (Andy) Schletz and Ross Benson; aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation from 1-2 p.m., at the First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, with Pastor Phillip Ruud and Pastor Kari Williamson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
