Beverly Robinson

Beverly "Bev" Jean Robinson, age 77, of Woodbury, formerly of Cannon Falls, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls with Pastor Daniel Forsgren officiating. Interment will be in the Cannon Falls Cemetery. Beverly was born July 22, 1934 in St. Paul to the parents, Robert and Edna (Flom) Hallgren. When Bev was quite young, her mother was remarried to John Robinson who adopted her. She was baptized and confirmed at First English Lutheran Church and graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1952. Following graduation, she started her working career at West Publishing in St. Paul where she was employed until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed all kinds of reading and liked to keep informed on politics and current events. Bev was very kind hearted and generous, always thinking about giving care to others. She also enjoyed traveling to various places including her 2002 trip to Norway, casino visits, going to plays and her many weekend trips with her daughter, Holly. Her life was a blessing to many and her presence will be missed. She is survived by her daughter Holly; cousin, Verone (Corley) Mortenson; four God children; close friend, Carol Bierbaurer and many other cousins, relatives, friends and co-workers. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Kommen For The Cure Foundation.
