Arleen Angeles Nogle (nee Burgoyne) died on November 7, 2008 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls.
She was born on November 15, 1916 to Mike and Georgianna Burgoyne in Elk River, MN. Born the last of 10 children, Arleen learned to work hard and cook well on the family farm; skills she shared so freely with her kids, grandkids and all of her extended family.
Arleen enjoyed music, gardening, travel, fishing, and as always, going to the cabin.
She married Johnny Nogle and they built their home in Elk River together. He died in 1958.
She is survived by her son, Don (Ann) Burgoyne of Cannon Falls; grandchildren, Patrick of Denver, CO, Terry of Detroit, MI, Jeanne of Dennison, Michael of Minnetonka, and Beth of Missoula, MT; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 29470 Gaylord Avenue, Cannon Falls, with Pastor Daniel Horn officiating.
