Ardis Nolda (nee Hougo) Hofmann, age 86 of Cannon Falls, died on Tuesday morning, July 7, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Ardis was born on July 3, 1923 in Minneola Township, the daughter of Andrew and Nettie (Brekke) Hougo.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gerald of Cannon Falls; three sons, James, Thomas, and Paul and their families; brothers, Conard Hougo and DuWayne Hougo; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Trier, with Father Stan Mader celebrating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. There will also be visitation at the church on Monday from 9-10 a.m.
