Ann Marie Engler, age 51 of Hopkins, died on Friday morning, February 5, 2010 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Ann was born on October 14, 1958 in Northfield, the daughter of Charles E. and Arlene M. (White) Engler. She grew up in Randolph, attended Randolph Baptist Church, and graduated from Randolph High School in 1977 as salutatorian. She then attended the University of Minnesota for two years.
Ann has resided in Hopkins the past 15 years, and has appreciated her many friends at Vail Place. Ann enjoyed listening to music, and loved children, especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her mother, Arlene Engler of Northfield; brothers, Alvin (Diane) of Spring Grove, IL, Larry (Karen) of Randolph, Vernon of Waukegan, IL, and Andrew (Karen) of Randolph; sister, Pamela (Tom) Lavin of Plattsburgh, NY; seven nieces and nephews, Sarah and William Engler, Charles, Matthew and Renee Tetreault, Sophia and Hannah Engler; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles on July 1, 1987; and brother, Mark on November 8, 1999.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 28595 Randolph Blvd in Randolph, with Pastor Steven Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Hampton.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls. There will also be visitation at the church on Tuesday from 12-1 p.m.
